    Treaty 7

    The land under the resort

Stoney Nakoda Resort & Casino is one of six Host First Nation casinos in Alberta. It stands on reserve land of the Stoney Nakoda First Nation at Morley. The Mini Thni Foundation is its designated licensed charity. Host First Nation casino proceeds go to charitable and religious programs that benefit the community.

The resort recognizes Treaty 7 territory, the traditional lands of the Siksika, Piikani, Kainai, Tsuu T'ina and Stoney Nakoda Nations, as the ground on which it stands. It writes: "As guests and hosts here, we commit to building respectful relationships and contributing to reconciliation."

    Online

    Alberta's online market

Stoney Nakoda Resort & Casino is a land-based resort, and none of its own pages names an online casino. Alberta has a regulated online gaming market, managed by the Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC) and regulated by AGLC. A legal operator holds AGLC registration and an AiGC operating agreement, and must allow play only from inside Alberta. Any site can be checked in AiGC's directory at abigaming.ca. Play Alberta, at PlayAlberta.ca, is the province's own site, run by AGLC.

Paid links on this guide's home page, marked Ad, lead to an online casino partner. That partner is not connected with the resort. The guide earns a commission, and the partner can change.
