Meals at The Ridge
The Ridge is the restaurant at Stoney Nakoda Resort & Casino. It serves family-friendly à la carte meals in a relaxed room with local artwork. Doors open daily at 8 am and close at 9 pm. Breakfast is served until 11 am, the same hour as hotel check-out.
Once the restaurant closes at 9 pm, room service takes over for hotel guests. How late it runs is not published, so the front desk is the place to ask. Holiday hours are not published either; the main line, 403-881-2830, answers that before a long weekend.
Food and screens at Sidelines
Sidelines Lounge is in the casino area at Stoney Nakoda Resort & Casino. It serves comfort food, beer and spirits, with sports on the screens and VLTs in the room. The lounge is open daily from 10 am to 2 am. Food service ends at 11 pm from Sunday to Thursday and at midnight on Friday and Saturday.
Smoking is not permitted in the lounge, just as on the main casino floor. Smoking is permitted in a separate slot machine room at the back left corner of the casino. Sidelines is part of the casino, so the Alberta gambling age of 18 applies, and staff must check valid government-issued photo ID for anyone who appears to be under 25.
Eating after 9 pm
After The Ridge closes at 9 pm, hotel guests can order room service. How late it runs is not published, so ask the front desk. Sidelines keeps serving food until 11 pm Sunday to Thursday and until midnight on Friday and Saturday.
On the casino floor, self-serve coffee, tea and water are complimentary, and servers sell other drinks at your seat. Stoney Nakoda Resort & Casino posts its dining specials and regular nights at stoneynakodaresort.com/events.
